How to find your Console & Router IP's

PS4/PS5: Settings => Go to the Settings =>Network => View Connection Status option.
XBOX ONE: Profile & system => Settings => General => Network settings, => Advanced settings. Take note of the following information your console displays "IP address(ipv4) = (Console IP) & Default gateway = (Router IP)".

Wireless tutorial:

Open up OctoSniff and select your Network Interface. Ie. your computers internet adapter either ethernet or WiFi in the top left corner.
Click "Setup ARP" (select your PC internet adapter if you have already) click "Next".
Router = you need to select your Default gateway (Router IP). Once selected click "Next". Once you click next wait for scanning to stop then continue.
Client devices = you need to select the IPV4 address of the device you want to pull IPS from (i.e. PlayStation, Xbox, Phone etc.) Once selected click "Save ARP Setting"
Click "Start ARP", then click "Start Sniff".
You should now start seeing IP Addresses appear! Once you have pulled all the ips in the session you are in you can click "Stop ARP"

Purchasing OctoSniff Points & use the points to unlock blacklist (Cheapest)

How to blacklist using OctoSniff Points

Register to https://beta.octosniff.net
Head over to https://justgaming.io & purchase 500 Points (minimum).
Once you purchased, give it a few moments then check your website inbox.
Grab the license key then activate it under "Settings".
Once you activated the points, click "Misc" in the menu then click "Blacklist" to unlock the blacklisting.

To be noted

You can update the username/gamertag as many times as you want. However if you blacklist "1234" and then blacklist "12345" "1234" will become De-blacklisted.

Octosniff supports all games, Game consoles an devices, however the software requires windows 8 or higher to run, The packets you get from the game depends on its networking. There are 2 forms of networking for games P2P and Dedicated.

**P2P **= Peer to Peer means you and the other clients are directly connected to each other via the Internet, exchanging data between each other.

Dedicated Servers = All clients connect to a server an relay data to the server an then the server relays the data back to all clients, so no data is sent between the clients.

| Game filters provide a convenient way of identifying a game server and client IPs by automatically labeling the related traffic. We will guide you on how to properly configure the filtered games tab for optimal usage.

To properly set up the filtered games tab, please follow these steps:

Navigate to the following path "settings>interface" and put a checkmark in the box next to "other info".
Navigate to the following path "settings>filtering" Enter your devices IPV4 Address (Xbox, PlayStation, phone etc) in the "Console IP Filter" field. If you are sniffing on PC leave this field empty.
Navigate to the following path "settings>filtering" filter ports 80 and 443 by typing them in the "Port" field then click add.
If the game or application has a corresponding game filter option, please enable it.
Once these steps are completed, begin capturing packets and join a game session.
