Avoiding False Positives with OctoSniff: Excluding from Windows Defender

OctoSniff is a safe and reliable software that does not contain any virus. If you have concerns about its safety, you can run the program on a virtual machine or through sandboxing to confirm its security.

Some Anti-Virus software may detect OctoSniff due to the obfuscation and security measures in place to prevent cracking. Obfuscation makes it more difficult for unauthorized individuals to access the software.

You do not need to disable your entire Anti-Virus, but you can exclude OctoSniff by following the instructions in the video provided. This guide is specific to Windows Defender. If you are using a different Anti-Virus program, you can use google to find instructions on how to exclude folders or files from your AV provider, such as McAfee, Avast, or Malwarebytes.
