In this tutorial we'll explain how to use octosniff with a VPN or with your normal WiFi Adapter. The wired method is a little more difficult than the Wireless method but its recommended as it doesn't require a ARP spoofing attack.

Requirements:
A laptop or Desktop with a WiFi Card or 2 Lan port (ie usb to Lan and 1 default Lan Port.
1 Lan cable if using WiFi Card, Or 2 Lan cables if using Lan2Lan.
A VPN if using a VPN.

WiFi 2 Lan: Using WiFi on PC ONLY (Game Console is wired to PC)
Connect your PC and game console together with an Ethernet cable. (RJ-45) Yes, that's right, PC to Game Console, In this case, your PC will act like a router.
Enable ICS (Internet Connection Sharing) on your Wireless adapter. Do this by navigating to your Network Connections
(Or shortcut with Win key+R and entering ncpa.cpl) Right-click your Wireless adapter and click "Properties", then
navigate to the Sharing Tab. Tick "Allow other network users to connect through this computer's Internet connection.
(If there's only two Network Connections listed, then there shouldn't be an option to chose which adapter to share to
-- It'll do it automatically. If it tells you to select an adapter/connection, select your Ethernet adapter, then
click Ok.)
Configure your consoles' Internet Connection. When prompted, select Custom. Auto just doesn't cut it for some reason.
It will ask you for Wireless or Wired, select Wired. Everything past that CAN be auto, but don't select auto before
chosing the Wired config.
If everything worked out, you should be online and ready to go!

Lan 2 Lan: Using a wired connection from your router to PC, then from PC to console
Connect your PC to your router (Can be done via an ethernet cable, or by connecting to a switch that's connected to
your router.
Connect your console to your PC via an Ethernet Cable (and USB Ethernet Adapter, unless your PC has two LAN ports)
Enable ICS (Internet Connection Sharing) on your LAN adapter (Wired Connection, Ethernet, etc). Do this by navigating
to your Network Connections (Or shortcut with Win key+R and entering ncpa.cpl) Right-click your LAN/Ethernet adapter
and click "Properties", then navigate to the Sharing Tab. Tick "Allow other network users to connect through this
computer's Internet connection. (You will most likely be using a USB Ethernet adapter to connect your PS3/4 to your
PC, if so, that's the adapter you want to share to. To identify it, it should mention "USB" below the network name.
Rename it to something you'll remember, you will use this in the future.)
